Your dog stays at Brigadoon’s on-site Homestay Cottage – a cosy, fully-furnished home on our property, cared for around the clock by a dedicated live-in carer.
It’s not a sitter visiting your home – instead, your pet enjoys 24/7 companionship and supervision in a peaceful, home-style environment at Brigadoon.

Recovery Retreat (Step-Down Care Facility)
Calm, supervised in-house care after surgery
Boarding at Brigadoon’s Recovery Retreat home with trained carers who follow your vet’s discharge plan exactly—meds on schedule, controlled movement, and gentle routines that support healing. This is non-clinical nursing care (not a veterinary hospital). We liaise with your vet and escalate promptly if anything changes.
Bookings on application only; case dependent.

- Crate-rest or restricted-activity cases (no jumping/running)
- Seniors post-procedure or pets needing medication on a timetable

Jasmin, my 13 year old mini Schnauzer, and Squintie my cat , have been to Brigadoon kennels (hotel?) three times during the past 2 months. Each stay was a week long. Jasmin has never been to boarding kennels and as she also suffers from seperation anxiety, I was very concerned about leaving her at Brigadoon. However, with Fiona's loving care Jasmin quickly integrated and mixed happily with all her new friends. I received daily photographs of both of them to put my mind at ease.
